Turns out I'm staying here for the next 3 months. I am training a brand new missionary which is fun but a big...( stressful) responsibility. His name is Elder Messay pronounced Messi.
This week was immensely fun but a little sad. It was the final week with my buddy Elder Sundas. (the one that teaches me Hindi) Anyways we did some enjoying for his last time in Hyderabad like sight seeing, eating good food, and having some baptisms.
On Pday we went to Chowamahala Palace. This is where the old king used to reside I walked in expecting a huge throne but nope... even the king sits on the floor too. The place was pretty cool though, it showed a lot of how the British just came in and ran everything here in India.
Me and Elder Sundas also joked with Elder Messay his first day here. We woke him up for gym in the morning at 6 and it was really dark. The poor kid looked super tired and as we were walking down the black road we told him "Hey Elder I'm sorry but we actually woke you up early its 4am" I wish I could write how great his reaction was but I will say it wasn't the best surprise for him.
the last two weeks we have had 2 baptisms... awesome!. They are both brothers and know more about the Book of Mormon than most adult members here. They are really solid kids. I love to hear from you all!
That's about it for me. God Bless
Elder Erasmus
